How exciting to be chosen as one of Canada’s Top 10 New Restaurants by enRoute Magazine. This is a highly regarded list that comes out every November and is buzzed about for quite a while (pretty much until the next years crop of newbies). This year’s list has a lot of heavy hitters on it; many of whom have had experience owning excellent restaurants previous to the one they are honoured for now. We kind of feel like the little guy in amongst the grown ups. It is also particularly cool to be on the same list as Chef Brad’s mentor David Hawksworth.
Each day we strive to make sure we are continually moving forward and improving ulla. We are thankful for our wonderful staff who have helped us progress and are a big part of what we do on a daily basis. We are also unbelievably grateful for our families and all their help (cleaning, fixing, scrubbing, building, scouring, feeding us, etc.). Without them this restaurant would have never started out so well.
